Framing and Hanging
Every good finish starts with straight, solid framing. Our crews lay out and frame non-structural metal stud walls, ceilings, soffits, and bulkheads, including curves and arches, then hang drywall following the project drawings and specs. From a small remodel to a 10,000-sheet project, we build it square, plumb, and ready to finish.
Drywall Finishing
We pride ourselves on our reputation for drywall finishing in Southwest Wisconsin. Our finishers tape, coat and sand gypsum board to the finish level the specifications call for, from fire-taping above the ceiling to Level 5 walls that hold up under high, oblique raking light.
Plastering
Plaster is its own trade. Most of the institutional buildings we work in have been renovated many times and carry just as many finishes, so a repair has to match what is already there. We build new gypsum and veneer plaster, and we patch and skim existing plaster so the repair disappears into the original.
Painting
There’s much more to painting than rolling it on a wall. We handle projects that involve epoxy, commercial, industrial, intumescent, and specialty coatings.

Gypsum and veneer plaster, new work and repairs matched to existing plaster in historic and institutional buildings.

Hanging and finishing standard, fire-rated, moisture- and abuse-resistant board, through Level 5 finish.

Suspended grid and acoustical ceiling tile, laid out to the reflected ceiling plan and set level.

Commercial vinyl wall covering, installed with matched seams over a properly prepared wall.

Fiberglass or mineral wool batts in rated and acoustic wall and ceiling assemblies.

Masonry, metal, siding and trim, with surface prep matched to the substrate.

Walls, ceilings, doors, frames and trim, prepared and finished to the specified system and sheen.
