From the classroom to project management.
Over the years we have hosted six interns from the Construction Management program at UW-Platteville. All six went on to full-time project management positions after graduation, and two of them work for us today.

Brody Beard
Senior Estimator
UW-Platteville Construction Management · Now teaches at UW-Platteville
Brody creates estimates for every project we do. From the most complex industrial facility to the smallest “California patch,” if you want to know the cost, he’s your man. He also now teaches at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville.
He’s an avid fisherman and a Chicago White Sox fan. We won’t hold that against him.
Saul Barrita
Senior Project Manager
UW-Platteville Construction Management Graduate
Saul runs our projects from the moment a bid is won. He works side by side with Brody to turn each estimate into a clear scope of work, then stays in daily contact with our crews to keep every job on schedule and built to the plans and specs.
A Minnesota Vikings and Wisconsin Badgers football fan who also follows Formula 1. When he isn’t at the gym, he’s finding a good place to eat, talking cars, or planning a trip to the next national park he wants to hike and explore.
A career with staying power
Drywall is one of the trades least exposed to AI.
Recent analyses show drywall and ceiling tile installers had only about 7% AI exposure and a 5% automation risk in 2024, with projections of about 15% exposure and 12% automation risk by 2028.
That is far below the theoretical maximum of about 28%, and reflects the fact that AI has “almost no presence” on actual drywall job sites.
